Description

Issued 29 April 1946 by Magyar Nemzeti Bank (Hungarian National Bank) during post-WWII hyperinflation (worst ever recorded, peaking at 41.9 sextillion percent monthly). “Milpengő” = 1 million pengő, so 10,000 Milpengő = 10 billion (10¹⁰) pengő. Printed on paper. Size approx. 170 × 83 mm (or 171 × 82 mm). Main colors: dark blue/orange/red/multicolor underprint.
