Issued 16 May 1966 by the Kingdom of Belgium Treasury (Royaume de Belgique / Koninkrijk België, managed via National Bank of Belgium printing). Part of 1964–1966 Treasury series. Printed on paper by National Bank of Belgium Printing Works, Brussels. Size approx. 127 × 64 mm. Main colors: brown-violet/orange-brown/multicolor. Signatures vary (e.g., 18–21: Directeur-Général der Thesaurie / equivalents).

  • Obverse: Arms (crowned Belgian lion shield) at lower left center, portraits of King Baudouin I (right profile) and Queen Fabiola (left profile) at right, denomination “VIJFTIG FRANK / 50 FRANCS”, date 16.05.66, legends in Dutch/French.
  • Reverse: Belgian Parliament building (Palais de la Nation / Paleis der Natie) in Brussels at center, denomination “50”, promise text.
